Student Visa for US
January 22, 2010 on 5:59 am | By admin | In Travel | Comments OffWhy I-20 is so important?I-20, also called “Certificate of Eligibility,” confirms that a non-immigrant has been admitted to a school in the U.S. that has received approval from the United States government to enroll non-immigrants as Student Visa for US. L ‘I-20 is issued by the Designated School Official (DSO) in the school where the student intends to study, and is required by the Embassy / Consulate to obtain a visa F-1. In addition, F-1 students must maintain a valid I-20 full-time students to remain legally in the U.S. after their start dates (please see “What are the requirements for the study of Kaplan International Colleges” for more information), and must communicate regularly with their DSO to ensure that you maintain legal status while they are in the U.S.
