The wedding mc duties can be stressful to fulfill if you only vaguely guess at them and decide to just do your best at the wedding reception. This attitude can result in a minor disaster…one that could make a bride and groom’s day memorable – for the wrong reasons. The number one duty a wedding mc has is to prepare for the wedding reception. Nothing crazy. An individual doesn’t have to put in 13 hours or anything. Just make sure you meet with the bride and groom well before the reception to discuss the program. Make sure you have a copy of the program and jot in any brief notes you require for introductions and announcements.
