The United States Brazil Relation on Ethanol
October 30, 2009 on 3:37 am | By admin | In News | 41 CommentsThe Brazilian economy is beginning to flourish in the area of new forms of energy. There are so many economic issues which are intertwined between the U.S. and the Brazilian economy. Because of these economic issues such as the ethanol tariff that the United States has put in place, Brazilian government is working hard to make the trade system more fair. People like U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk stressed the importance of a strong trading partnership between the United States and Brazil. Kirk has wanted to see an expansion of both exports and imports to and from Brazil. Kirk has already developed a positive relationship with Exterior Minister Chelso Amorim. Amorim and Kirk hope to continue their bilateral talks within this global economy. Opening up trade and bringing down barriers can be a great diplomatic tool.
