In life, it is very rare for a person to find a role model that they can trust and who will help them. So, that’s why life skills manuals and career development classes are so important, especially for young teenagers. Learning skills in advance in a safe environment like the classroom is a whole lot better than trying to learn them on the fly when you get older. Of course, no amount of prep can really prepare you for the real world. But it’s a start.
