3) The Age of the Child – When choosing a perfect toy, age is one of the prime considerations. The reason for this is that if the toy is too advanced for the age of the child, they can lose interest, or worse, become injured when they play with the toy. Similarly, if the toys are too young for them, they will consider them boring and immature. Manufacturers are always trying to find ways to make their products safer, but it’s important that you follow their guidelines when choosing a toy. Their suggested age limits for the toy are often printed on the packaging. Make sure that the toys you choose are age appropriate. 4) What Toys Do Your Child’s Friends Play With? – Observe when you see your child playing with others. They may show a particular interest in the toys that their friends are playing with. If this is the case, you have a potential toy to buy for your child when the occasion presents itself.
