Acupressure for Labor?  Isn’t that when they stick lots of needles in you?  I’m pregnant!  I don’t need more pain in my life right now! Well, no.  That’s acupuncture, but the two are related. The techniques of acupressure can be used to cope with various types of discomforts: back and neck pain, anxiety, nausea and seasickness, and other things.  If you’re pregnant and reading this, no doubt you’re thinking “Wait! I am dealing with several of those things right now.  Does that mean I might not have to feel like this for nine months?” If you are thinking about acupressure during labor, use maternity acupressure .
