I Regret the Need for a Dummy Security Camera

Have you ever noticed all the security cameras in the big department stores? I am an honest person anyway, but I still wouldn’t think about taking something if I knew there was a camera trained right on me. I have a friend who works in security, and he says that a company will often install a dummy security camera here and there as well as the real ones. I guess it saves money, and most people won’t know which are real and which are not. It seems pretty sad to me that stores have to spend money just to keep people honest. I wish we didn’t need these cameras at all.
