Today’s child spends a lot of time in front of the television, rather than building their own imagination playing games and being active outdoors. To counter that, as parents we need to encourage as much character building as we can, so that our kids can experience full lives later. We want the best for our children, which means that we cannot just sit them in front of a television whenever we are tired or when we want them to be quiet.
