Drinking More Water

Kidney damage and renal failure ran in my family. I have always smoked, drank alcohol and frequent cups of coffee, and relished in salty food and sauces. I stepped back, re-evaluated my habits and thought that these would eventually lead me to the high-road to kidney damage and renal failure. What the paleo diet has taught me was to drink a lot of water, usually 8-10 glasses of pure ‘unprocessed’ spring water. Another good thing about this is that water replenishes ‘thirsty’ cells and gets rid of bodily waste. Now, I know I’m taking better care of my kidneys and my body.
