Why I Backup PS3

For those who are still unaware, the answer to the question: “why backup ps3 games?” is thankfully a straightforward one. We backup our PS3 games because it makes economic sense to do so. When you’re paying upwards of $50 for the latest Playstation games, there’s now way you’d want to fork out another $50 just to re-purchase the same media should your original game discs become damaged or corrupted. And they will become damaged over time because as you continually play the games, the discs will start to accumulate little scratches – which will eventually render them as unplayable. So really what we’re talking about is making backups of our game discs to protect our original investment.
