Finding Those Xmas Toys
February 13, 2010 on 4:16 am | By admin | In Miscellaneous3) The Age of the Child - When choosing a perfect toy, age is one of the prime considerations. The reason for this is that if the toy is too advanced for the age of the child, they can lose interest, or worse, become injured when they play with the toy. Similarly, if the toys are too young for them, they will consider them boring and immature. Manufacturers are always trying to find ways to make their products safer, but it’s important that you follow their guidelines when choosing a toy. Their suggested age limits for the toy are often printed on the packaging. Make sure that the toys you choose are age appropriate. 4) What Toys Do Your Child’s Friends Play With? - Observe when you see your child playing with others. They may show a particular interest in the toys that their friends are playing with. If this is the case, you have a potential toy to buy for your child when the occasion presents itself. For the other steps check out Christmas toys.

The spare Makita Battery 9000 I keep charged
February 10, 2010 on 9:58 am | By admin | In MiscellaneousOn Saturday afternoon I drove over to my friend Kenny’s house to help him do some drywalling and a few other jobs to complete his additional room that he had recently added onto the house. Around noon I noticed that the battery on my power tool was getting a little weak. I’m just thankful that I always carry a backup Makita Battery 9000 that was fully charged. I typically will always have an additional fully charged battery so that any job I start will be completed on time. I’m sure Kenny was happy with this fact because his battery soon ran completely dry.

Math Comic Strips Has Just Released “The Innovative Dr. Knowledge”…
February 6, 2010 on 4:39 am | By admin | In MiscellaneousThe www.math comic strips.com web site was developed for one primary reason…to offer a way to help teach math to our nation’s children. In this fast-paced world of television, video games and other distractions, they knew that this would prove to be a formidable challenge. Math is complicated and boring to too many children, and well, too much like “work”. We need a way to make learning math exciting and fun.The format of a comic book is ideal for a number of reasons. To begin, comics have stood the test of time. Long before there was a 24 hour cartoon network there was the humble comic. Children would be huddled under their blankets late at night, comic book and flashlight in hand. Comics are a very visual learning tool, portable, requiring no attachments or electricity, or strange as it may sound, even an internet connection. We have come across just the comic…an educational math comic featuring “The Innovative Dr. Knowledge”. Now Dr. Knowledge is not a “Super Hero” in the sense that he is from another planet or has been bitten by an insect or something. He’s a regular guy. His “superior abilities” (if we can call them that) comes from his hard work at studying math and other subjects over the years. With these “powers” he is able to solve some fantastic crimes and problems. We are hoping that as children read and follow his adventures, they will become enchanted by the world of math, and motivated to do their own math homework in the process.Bobby lost his mother at a young age, and had a rather difficult childhood in many respects. To make a long story short, his father decided to take him on a trip to help encourage and motivate his son. As fate would have it, he ended up on an island, and it was here that he embraced his love of math. Math helped him to solve many problems that the island presented him with, and through these adventures he was able to see the practical applications of math. When he eventually made his way back to civilization, he pursued his math education on a more formal level eventually earning a PhD in Mathematics at a prestigious university. Using his math abilities he was able to acquire great wealth, and answer a calling in his life…to use math to solve crimes and problems and make the world a better place. We hope that you will enjoy reading their flagship comic book, “The Innovative Dr. Knowledge”. We hope that you will join them in helping to promote math to our nation’s children. Who knows, math comic strips may never be the same…
The battle of PJs vs. Lingerie
February 6, 2010 on 4:26 am | By admin | In MiscellaneousThere’s always a battle going on in my life of PJs vs lingerie. I like PJs because they’re more comfortable to me, especially in the winter months. I like lingerie because, well, I get more attention from my husband when I wear it. Ha! We had a joke for awhile, and I realized it was a problem, when he said, Oh, you’re wearing lingerie, I know what THAT means. With a twinkle in his eye and a smile, I might add. So obviously it was becoming almost a subconscious cue of what was going on with me when I wore lingerie…but I feel bad sometimes because he likes me in lingerie, but it’s not my favorite thing to sleep in.

February 4, 2010 on 4:26 pm | By admin | In MiscellaneousIf you are just one of the millions of people who need to start paying off their bills immediately and get their lives back on track, then debt consolidation can really help you. This method of paying off debt basically consists of finding a company or some other financial institution which offers consolidation services, then working with them to come up with ways to reduce your payments. All of the payments you are making now to credit card companies will be condensed into just one payment that will go towards a loan you take out with one of these companies.
My Mom’s Birthday Gift
January 29, 2010 on 5:53 pm | By admin | In MiscellaneousWhile I was at the mall yesterday, I stopped at a kiosk selling gourmet gift baskets. They were absolutely beautiful. I could not believe all the candy, cheeses and chocolates that they contained. My mom’s birthday is coming up in a few weeks. I think I am going to stop by and buy her one of the bigger ones. She loves dark chocolate. One gift basket contained a huge bar of dark chocolate and a few different types of imported coffee. How can anyone not like a gift of coffee and chocolate? I sure hope she will share her goodies with me.
Training A Dog To Play Tracking Games
January 29, 2010 on 3:02 pm | By admin | In MiscellaneousTracking games are great fun for most dogs. For example, you can hide a favorite ball under a bucket and let the dog look for it. Later, you can make it more and more difficult by hiding different balls amongst which your pup has to find its “own” ball.
Another good and exciting game for training a dog with a feeling for detection and a good nose for sniffing things out is played with pieces of cloth hung on a low clothesline, from which your dog has to find one piece of cloth that you have had in your pocket for a while. You should allow the dog to search independently and without help, but praise it lavishly when it has found the right ball or piece of cloth.
