I haven’t written anything for a long time because at first I was busy in preparing my paper and then I was ill. Last week, I was hit by a serious and gusty cold accompanied by lover fever and had to stay at home for three and half days. Strong headache and dizziness forced me to give up all the things I should and need to do, include working, doing my paper and etc. My last weekend is the continuation of this bad situation. Taking medicine, sleeping, watching TV program and eating are the all there was my life at home these a few days. When looking back, I find that I was so lazy and wasted a lot of precious time. And the most important thing is that I have found an excuse of my laziness. I watched 6 DVDs in a week and before that I haven’t seen one in several months.

Going Through Grandmother’s Things

My grandmother passed away a few months ago and we are just getting around to cleaning out her apartment. My, that woman never threw anything away apparently. We found 3 unopened Christmas Hampers from who knows how long ago stuck up on a shelf. We each took one home. It’d be a shame to throw them away. She had money stashed away in sock drawers, cans of beans and corn from what had to be 1976. She collected bells and had them all over the place. We let everyone in the family come in and take one home with them to remember her by.

I was just looking at the invitation for the baby shower that I am attending, and I was noticing that there was something that was said about making sure to only bring organic baby clothes. I have never heard of that, but as soon as I read it, I thought it was a good idea. I got one of the best deals ever the other day at a yard sale. Well, I thought it was a good deal at the time. They were selling a lot of old things there. Then I saw they had a laptop for sale. I asked how much and they just said one hundred dollars. I realized I bought a slow computer. I can invest some time into it and get it back up and running. It could be a weekend activity for me.
