The United States Brazil Relation on Ethanol

The Brazilian economy is beginning to flourish in the area of new forms of energy. There are so many economic issues which are intertwined between the U.S. and the Brazilian economy. Because of these economic issues such as the ethanol tariff that the United States has put in place, Brazilian government is working hard to make the trade system more fair. People like U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk stressed the importance of a strong trading partnership between the United States and Brazil. Kirk has wanted to see an expansion of both exports and imports to and from Brazil. Kirk has already developed a positive relationship with Exterior Minister Chelso Amorim. Amorim and Kirk hope to continue their bilateral talks within this global economy. Opening up trade and bringing down barriers can be a great diplomatic tool.

The room is too stuffy

My housemate, Michelle said the room was too “stuffy”, but I guess the real problem was that the air was too humid after the rain. I guess the ventilation in our room is not that good. We actually thinking of how to make our room less dampness, but Michelle seem to convince that a dehumidifier will help. Michelle is researching for the right dehumidifier online and she is trying to figure out what is the best after reading those dehumidifier reviews. I hate shopping for electrical appliances because I do not trust myself to make the right choice. Thank God for Michelle! It seems that every month, we acquire a new item.

Addiction Support Group

A local addiction support group tries to help those with nicotine and alcohol addictions out by giving them a good support system. There meetings are often held at my church, and I have observed some of the regulars that attend these meetings. I have come to notice that the group does help, but often these people replace one addiction with another. I noticed one smoker in particular had given up regular cigarettes in favor of Electronic Cigarettes. When some of the other smokers observed him, they too purchased these cigarettes. I have to wonder if this version of smoking is any less hazardous to their health.

We all went to Phil’s house last night

We all went to Phil’s house last night because it was his birthday and he threw a cocktail party. Some of us headed straight for the cocktail bar and started mixing up really original cocktails for the rest. I’m not sure what was on our mind but eventually we came up with an epic mix of vodka, wine, apples and bananas. All the stuff went into Phil’s best blender and - tada! The cocktail was done in a few seconds time. Everyone laughed at the signature cocktail and tried to make each other drink it. The party was such fun for all of us, even when the poor guy who had the weird cocktail started to sing blasphemy.

Puppies Make Big Smiles
